This webinar will provide a high-level overview of the transition period foreseen in the EU pharma package (the new EU General Pharmaceutical Law – GPL). As the GPL has not yet been formally published, the webinar will be based on the text of the political agreement reached by the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union on the reform of the EU pharmaceutical legislation, as made publicly available on 6 March 2025.

We will focus in particular on the different timelines for entry into force, highlighting the provisions that will apply earlier than the general 24‑month period after publication, and we will provide a high-level overview of the key transitional provisions.
