  1. Herman Devriese

    Herman Devriese

    Herman Devriese is head of the department “prevention & environment in UZ Leuven”, a renowned Belgian hospital. In cooperation with his team, he is supporting the management team and every collaborator in the hospital in order to control the occupational and environmental risks in the hospital and to ameliorate the safety and health of hospital staff, their patients and all the visitors. As an Environmental Coordinator, Herman Devriese is also involved in sustainable development, looking for new opportunities to reduce the amount of waste in this hospital or creating better solutions for recycling.

  3. Sonja Willems

    Sonja Willems

    Managing Director, Janssen Benelux. Sonja has a Master Degree in Business Engineering from Hasselt University, Belgium. After having started her career with Eli Lilly, Sonja joined Janssen in 1987 in the International Marketing Department in Beerse. After 7 years she moved to Canada to take up a Business Unit responsibility and afterwards New Business Development for CNS. She moved back to Beerse to take up the WW responsibility for the Psychiatry franchise and was instrumental in the early development of Risperdal Consta and Xeplion. From there, she moved to the Janssen EMEA organization to lead the European launch of Reminyl in Alzheimer dementia. Afterwards moved to Janssen Germany to work in Market Access, Strategic Planning and at the end to lead the OBI/Tibotec business and the launch of our HIV compounds. In 2007 Sonja moved to the J&J Medical Device unit based in Hamburg to take up the MD role for the Ethicon Products business in Germany and the lead for the Suture Production site and Mesh Research Center. Afterwards she led the integration of the entire Ethicon Franchise in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In April 2012, she moved back to Janssen and into her current role. From 2012 till 2018, Sonja was President of pharma.be, the Belgian pharm association. She was instrumental in the development and the signage of the “Pact of the future” with the Belgian Government in 2015 which sets out the future policy lines for the industry. In 2014, Sonja was appointed to the Board of Directors of Janssen Pharmaceutica.

    Veronique Toully is Vice-President and Head of Sustainability for UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating value for people living with severe diseases. She is responsible for the integration of sustainability within the company strategy and for supporting the organization in incorporating economic, social and environmental perspectives in order to drive UCB’s sustainable business growth.

    Wayne Visser

    Prof. Dr Wayne Visser is a globally recognized ‘pracademic’, listed as one of the world’s Top 10 most influential faculty thinkers on issues of responsible business in social media, a top 100 influencer on CSR and sustainable business, a top 100 thought-leader in trustworthy business and a top 100 sustainability leader. Dr Visser is the author of 39 books and his work as a strategy analyst, sustainability advisor, CSR expert, futurist, filmmaker and professional speaker has taken him to 77 countries. Dr Visser currently serves Professor of Integrated Value at Antwerp Management School, where he also holds the Chair in Sustainable Transformation, supported by BASF, Port of Antwerp and Randstad. He is a Head Tutor and Fellow of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Director of the thinktank and media company, Kaleidoscope Futures and Founder of CSR International. Previous roles were as Director of Sustainability Services for KPMG and Strategy Analyst for Capgemini in South Africa
